TAKE.SKIN is on the App Store — a free CS2 case simulator with no ads and no premium

The TAKE.SKIN CS2 case simulator is now on the Apple App Store.

Same project as the website. Same drop tables. Still 100% free: no ads, no premium tier, no in-app purchases.

If you want the listing, it is TAKE.SKIN - CS2 case Simulator. The browser version stays at take.skin/simulator. The rest of the site is still take.skin.

Requires iOS 17.6 or later. Works on iPhone and iPad.

Why we shipped an app

Most people already use TAKE.SKIN in the browser. That page is not going anywhere.

The app exists for the sessions where you do not want a tab: checking a case before you buy one, looking up a wear price, or opening a few boxes on the train. It talks to the same TAKE.SKIN data the website uses, so you are not looking at a second, lagging catalog.

If you prefer desktop, keep using take.skin/simulator. The app is the same simulator, not a paywall around it.

What “free” means here

A lot of CS2 companion apps are free until they are not: banner ads, a “remove HUD” IAP, a weekly pass to open more boxes.

TAKE.SKIN does not do that.

  • No ads
  • No premium
  • No in-app purchases
  • No account required to open cases

We also do not collect personal data from the app (see the App Store privacy label). Privacy policy: https://take.skin/legal/privacy

The simulator

Pick a case, spin, see what would have dropped.

Odds follow the usual CS2 rarity table (blue / purple / pink / red / gold), not a “lucky hour” slider. Wear rolls with the item. Gold is still rare. That is the point — you can burn a hundred virtual keys and get a feel for how dry a case actually is before you spend money on Steam.

Version 1.1.0 adds Open 10: one request, one report with spent, drop value, and ROI. Useful when you want a sample, not a single spin.

This is entertainment. Nothing in the app buys, sells, or withdraws a real skin. It is not a gambling site and it is not a substitute for the Steam Market.

What else is in the app

The simulator is the headline, but the rest of TAKE.SKIN is in there too.

Market shows skin and case prices and history — the same numbers we show on the site. Skins is the catalog by weapon, wear, and collection. Players lists pro loadouts, meaning what people actually use, not a random inventory. Loadout helper takes budget, side, and color, then suggests a set. More covers the Trade-Up helper, gallery, language, FAQ, and legal pages.

If you already live on take.skin, you will recognize the layout. We did not rebuild a different product for the store.

Web or App Store?

Use whichever is closer. Both stay free. Desktop is still better for sharing a link; the app is better when you do not want browser chrome on a phone or iPad.

Not a Valve product

TAKE.SKIN is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Valve. CS2, weapon names, and related assets belong to Valve.

The case simulator is a free fan tool for testing luck and looking at items. It does not open real cases and it does not move inventory.
